FAQs

What is Nothing is Edible: The Mini Mart?

Nothing is Edible: The Mini Mart is an interactive installation created by Julie Nguyen, aka
fakecakery. The installation will consist of a "convenience store" setting where none of the products in the space are not food, but rather functional sculptures. There will be many interactive elements throughout the space, inviting visitors to browse, shop, and leave reviews. Along with the physical space, you will be able to purchase products and view additional accompanying commercials and other video content on nothingisedible.com.

When and where will the installation be?

The installation will take place at Massachusetts College Of Art and Design in the Godine Family Gallery from March 31st - April 11th, 2025. The reception will be on April 11th from 6-8 pm.

Address:
621 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115

Will I be able to purchase props?

Yes! Once the exhibition is up, visitors will be able to purchase through nothingisedible.com. Orders be placed to be shipped (which will process after the show is over) or can be picked up during reception night! Reception night visitors will also be invited for an "in-person shopping experience," more details for this event will be released closer to the event date.
